Introduction

 I recently completed an internship in the Internet development industry where I
was able to build skills in agile software development and participate in the QA/QC
process. Upon finishing my internship I took a Ruby on Rails programming job with
a very small upstart company called Bear Den Designs who promptly lost their main
contract and had to let me go. Furthermore, having two semesters (part-time) remaining
at UNF where I will graduate with a degree in Information Science with Computer
Science and Mathematics minors, I feel I will bring a new, fresh perspective to
your organization with educational attributes perhaps not common to some of your
other applicants. I believe now is the time for me to make a home for myself at
a stable company. Although I am still a student I am looking for a thirty-five to
forty hour a week position (but would consider other offers) which I can begin immediately.


 I have had a long history of incorporating discipline into my work ethic. Having
spent seven years in the U.S. Navy I know what it takes to work on a team and coordinate
with others to accomplish large goals and solve complicated problems. Although I
plan to take two - three classes a semester until I graduate I should have no trouble
maintaining my responsibilities to your organization should you choose to hire me.
